User-Supplied Provider Keys (BYOK & Token Sales)
LLM Stats lets you supply your own third-party AI provider API keys (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, or Replicate) in two ways: "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK), where your key serves your organization's own playground traffic, and "Sell Your Tokens," where you make a key available for LLM Stats to route inference through in exchange for wallet credits. The following terms apply whenever you add a provider key.
- Ownership and authority. You represent and warrant that you own each key you add, or are expressly authorized to use it, and that doing so does not violate any agreement with the underlying provider or any third party. You are solely responsible for compliance with the provider's own terms, usage limits, and acceptable-use policies.
- Security and storage. Keys are encrypted at rest and stored separately from LLM Stats platform credentials. We verify a key before activation and use it only for the purposes described above. While we apply commercially reasonable safeguards, no system is perfectly secure, and you accept the residual risk of supplying a credential to a third-party service. You may revoke a key at any time from your settings, and you should rotate keys you no longer wish us to hold.
- Billing. For BYOK traffic, your provider account is billed directly by the provider for usage, and LLM Stats charges only its platform markup on requests served by your key; if your key fails and we fall back to a platform key, that request is charged at the standard full rate. For sold tokens, your provider account pays the underlying usage and we credit your LLM Stats wallet at the disclosed rate. Wallet credits have no cash value except as expressly offered, are not transferable, and may be adjusted or reversed to correct errors, fraud, or abuse.
- Liability and disclaimer. Provider keys are supplied at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLM Stats is not liable for any charges incurred on your provider account, loss of access, rate-limiting, key suspension or revocation by the provider, unauthorized use, data leakage, or any other damages arising from your decision to supply a key, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. You are responsible for monitoring your own provider spend and limits.
- Anti-fraud and abuse. You may not add keys you do not own, use stolen, leaked, or trial-abusing credentials, attempt to launder usage, inflate earnings, evade provider limits, or otherwise manipulate billing or credits. We may probe, throttle, deactivate, or remove any key, withhold or reverse credits, suspend the feature, and terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are engaged in fraud, abuse, or violations of these terms or a provider's terms. You agree to indemnify LLM Stats against claims arising from keys you supply.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state or location.
